They are seeking an Occupational Therapy Intern to join their multi-disciplinary team, where the intern will assist in treatment sessions, documentation, and clerical duties under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for taking data during sessions and completing documentation of those sessions
Observe and participate in the treatment session under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
The intern is required to attend a series of weekly staff meetings, such as the DT Team Meeting, Clinical Integration Meetings, and supervision meetings
Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed
Assist in preparing information and materials for treatment sessions
Assist in maintaining equipment and materials for the DT team
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an institution of higher learning
Ability to interact with children of a variety of ages and be both engaging and fun
Willingness and patience to support children who may be engaging in challenging behaviors
Ability to be flexible and 'think on your feet'
Ability to communicate positively and effectively to families and co-workers
