The Policyholder Services Department is seeking a summer intern to provide a comprehensive experience across multiple operational areas including Underwriting, PHS Operations, Premium Audit, and Safety Services.

Responsibilities

Learn LWCC workers’ compensation policies, NCCI Basic Manual, and Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Revised Statute

Assist with pricing new submissions and renewals

Review endorsements and policy processing procedures

Learn the Premium Audit process and apply NCCI Basic Manual rules along with company policies and procedures

Correspond with agents and policyholders to gather audit information

Analyze business records to determine premium based exposures

Assist with customer service for agent partners, policyholders, and underwriters

Assist with processing policy endorsements and responding to internal and external service requests

Assign test audits and safety service visits

Assist management with special projects and administrative tasks
