Responsibilities
Pioneer the innovation of analytical method development, including but not limited to 2D-LC and high-resolution MS
Participate in designing, executing and documenting experiments
Test samples, analyze, and interpret data/results; write technical reports and/or articles for publication; establish protocols; attend relevant internal meetings to learn and report the development of analytical methods and learning
Qualification
Required
Legal authorization to work in the U.S
At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship
PhD candidate
Basic lab skills, such as pipetting, solution preparation, centrifugation, etc
Proficiency in good documentation practices, data analysis, reporting and review
Understanding and hands-on experience with HPLC, UHPLC, LCMS, and high-resolution MS
Willingness to learn (new methods, new modalities, etc.) and ability to demonstrate scientific curiosity and innovation
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred
Preferred majors/programs: analytical chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical biology, etc
