VP Relationship Manager III

Responsibilities
Originate Commercial Loans. Commercial lender responsible for actively prospecting, developing, and acquiring new commercial banking relationships, with a focus on originating both C&I and owner- and investor-occupied CRE loans. Originate loans by responding to inquiries from existing and prospective customers and structuring transactions to meet client needs while aligning with credit policy. Underwrite and evaluate loan requests through cash flow analysis, global financial analysis, collateral evaluation, and comprehensive risk assessment. Prepare credit approval memoranda and loan presentation packages, communicate credit decisions and structure modifications, and negotiate loan terms including pricing, rates, fees, and covenants. Manage due diligence and documentation requirements, maintain ongoing credit files, and coordinate loan closings in collaboration with credit, legal, and operations teams
Evaluate and renew current Commercial Loans. Analyze existing Loans for renewal and/or structural change. Prepare Loans for presentation and approval
Monitor financial status of accounts. Review credit files and update changes in financial status. Review and coordinate exception report resolution. Follow up Loan tickler & covenant tracking reports. Review files for examination purposes
Marketing. Contact existing customers to augment existing service relationship. Contact potential customers to establish relationships for current and future business. Develop "Game of work" strategies to stimulate total Bank marketing effort
Problem Loan resolution and collections. Initiate phone calls to past due Loan customers. Collect on chronic delinquent accounts at time of repossession, liquidation or foreclosure of collateral. Monitor past due and payment reports
Supervise Loan secretaries. Coordinate work responsibilities of Secretaries. Develop teamwork amongst group. Evaluate performance. Assist in conflict resolution

Qualification
Required
Minimum 15 years Commercial Lending Experience
College education or equivalent experience including: accounting principles; economics, including Micro and Macro theory, and Money and Banking; management principles; business law; and principles of financial management
Other educational experience regarding: principles of bank operations; analyzing financial statements; bank investments; credit administration; and business administration
Interest in People with a sincere desire to help; curiosity; thoroughness; written and verbal communication skills; competence in math to at least the algebraic level; independent thinker; constructive; courageous; resourceful, imaginative, and innovative; cautiously aggressive; and skilled in interpersonal relationships
