Austin Gamblers is one of ten teams in the Professional Bull Riders Teams Series, representing the spirit of Austin, Texas. They are seeking a Spring/Summer Intern to assist with operations, marketing initiatives, and event management, providing hands-on experience in professional sports operations.

Assist with various aspects of operations and events management

Support marketing initiatives

Coordinate and manage social media

Provide administrative support

Participate in booth and event work and setup/tear-down

Required

Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle tasks and meet deadlines

Experience in social media platforms, content creation, and marketing strategies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and external partners

Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive mindset

Proficiency with basic office software and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies

Must be able to work after hours and weekends with advance notice

Must be agile and able to lift and carry booth setups and displays, merchandise boxes, etc

Preferred

Previous experience or interest in the sports and entertainment industry is a plus

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred but not required

Experience with customer service and interaction with customers at public events is a plus
