Responsibilities
Work as a member of a design team on multiple projects serving clients such as NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NYSTA, MTA C&D – NYCT/LIRR/MNR, and PANYNJ
Preparing plans
Conducting detailed drawing/calculation checks
Preparing estimates
Performing quantity take-offs for projects of varying sizes and complexity
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
Attention to detail
Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or a graduate Structural Engineering program
2+ years completed toward degree
3.00 GPA or higher preferred
Attention to detail is a must
Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Students with at least one prior internship in the A/E industry preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Preference will be given to local candidates
