Research Surgery Fellow
Nationwide Children's Hospital is conducting cutting-edge research in the field of surgery. The Research Surgery Fellow will conduct surgical research, assist with protocol development, and engage in data analysis under the supervision of senior surgeons.

Responsibilities
May perform molecular biology, cell biology and/or animal experiments
Designs and conducts scientific experiments to obtain data
May participate in clinical research and IRB protocols
Writes and publishes scientific manuscripts and journals
Contributes to grant submissions for external funding
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic school, or international equivalent, required
Currently in a Surgery Training Program, required
Necessary technical skills in the appropriate area of research
Effective technical writing and communication skills
Preferred
Two years of surgical training, preferred
Experience with large animal surgeries, preferred
