BMS CAT is a respected name in the restoration and reconstruction industry, seeking driven Commercial Account Managers to expand their disaster restoration services. The role focuses on building relationships with facility managers and decision-makers through cold prospecting and in-person visits to secure new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Prospecting commercial and industrial facilities through cold calls, site visits, and referrals
Building pre-loss relationships for:
Water damage restoration
Fire & smoke restoration
Mold remediation
Environmental and emergency response services
Selling emergency response agreements, preferred vendor status, and long-cycle service contracts
Meeting customers on-site (facilities, plants, hospitals, offices, campuses, warehouses)
Maintaining ongoing relationships with facility, operations, engineering, and maintenance teams
Working closely with project managers and operations during active losses
Qualification
Required
3+ years of outside B2B sales experience selling services
Proven experience generating new business through cold prospecting
Experience selling into commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or multi-site facilities
Ability to manage a territory independently
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
Have sold B2B services, especially restoration, construction, environmental, or facility services
Are comfortable walking job sites, damaged facilities, and mechanical spaces
Have called on Facility Managers, Operations Managers, Engineers, Maintenance Directors, or Property Managers
Enjoy cold prospecting and door-opening, not inbound or inside sales
Understand long sales cycles, emergency-driven buying, and relationship-based renewals
Prefer autonomy and being in the field over a desk-based role
