Voltyx is a NETA certified Independent Electrical Testing & Engineering Organization focused on the Renewable Energy, Data Centers, and Industrial industries. They are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to provide critical support in the onboarding process for new employees and assist with various HR-related duties.

Responsibilities

Coordinates the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles

Serve as primary point of contact for hiring managers and newly hired employees

Arrange for new hires to complete pre-employment drug test and DOT physicals, if applicable

Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation presentation

Ensure new hire paperwork is completed including I-9 verification

Provide support to other HR partners for employee benefit programs as well as leaves of absences

Serve as primary point of contact for company random drug testing program

Compiles and maintains personnel records

Updates employee files to document personnel actions

Partners with HR functions to build relationships within our company and contributes to a positive employee experience

Perform other HR-related duties and assist with special projects as assigned

Some travel to visit branches and attend career fairs may be required

Required

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to always maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or other business related field

Professional certification in human resources (e.g., aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP)

Familiarity with HR Information Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, and Candidate Management Systems

Familiarity with iCIMS and ADP Workforce Now
