Accounts Payable Associate
Wedgewood is the nation’s largest and most trusted provider of compounded veterinary medications, recently merging with Blue Rabbit to enhance their services. The A/P Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoice payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining vendor relationships.

Responsibilities
Process accounts payable using accounting software
Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors, and resolve purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies
Ensure bills are coded and paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to policies and procedures
Process due invoices for payments
Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges
Collaborate with internal departments
Reconcile vendor statements
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Effective communicator both written and verbal
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures
Preferred
Associate or BS degree preferred
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office products
Working knowledge of Accounts Payable processes
