Responsibilities

Performs routine assignments using existing procedures to solve standard problems
Typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent work experience
Has conceptual knowledge of fundamental theories, principles and practices
Has no related work experience or has work experience but requires formal training in theories/concepts in own function
Works under close supervision and receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles
Has no discretion to vary from established procedures by performing structured work assignments
Entry level to a professional career progression
Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a job discipline
Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience
Accountable for own contributions
Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems
Analyzes information and standard practices to make judgements
Has limited impact on own work team; works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in Polymer, Science, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering - or strong experience in a Process or Assembly Technician role within a medical device environment
3 years experience (or strong exposure) to cleanroom manufacturing, validation, process control, and continuous improvement
A solid understanding of Lean and process improvement principles - or the enthusiasm to develop these skills on the job
Experience with software programs and systems mindset along with strong detail orientation and documentation skills

Preferred

A Lean Systems Green Belt (LSGB) or Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) certification is a plus – but not essential; we value drive, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
