Manage the Tribal Affairs Section
Coordinate CDPH Tribal affairs efforts
Provide guidance to Centers/Divisions/Offices on issues affecting Tribes in California
Foster positive government-to-government relationships
Develop and deliver Tribal affairs training
Create Tribal consultation guidelines
Communicate and strategize with leadership
Work independently
Communicate effectively and with cultural humility
Provide direction and oversight of staff and team projects/initiatives
Utilize the Microsoft Office Suite proficiently
Travel regularly statewide as required
Qualification
Required
Must have taken and passed the examination for this classification in order to be hired for this position

Daily proficient utilization of the Microsoft Office Suite
Regular statewide travel may be required
California residency is required prior to appointment and must be maintained as a condition of employment
