Responsibilities
Conduct hands-on work in a nuclear facility under supervision of senior technicians or subject matter experts
Gain experience handling nuclear materials, performing wet and dry chemistry, manipulating various analytical instruments, and performing hands-on work in radiological gloveboxes
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited associate's degree program with at least 12 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters or the quarter system equivalent
Have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on 4.0 scale
Ability to follow laboratory safety procedures
Ability to work and problem-solve independently
Ability to work within a nuclear facility
Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred
Experience working with radioactive materials
Experience working with hazardous materials
Experience using gloveboxes and fume hoods
