Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Identify and connect with potential hosts in person, sourcing through online research, cold calling, community engagement, and local networking
Sales Pitches: Deliver persuasive in-person conversations to showcase Services and its offerings, effectively converting interest into host submissions
Onboarding: Partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate the initial onboarding of new hosts, ensuring they are well-informed and equipped for success
Market Insights: Gather valuable insights from potential hosts and the community to inform sales strategies and improve service offerings
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or community engagement
Exceptional interpersonal skills; comfortable with cold calling and initiating conversations in various formats
A curious and scrappy mindset with an eagerness to proactively identify new tactics & approaches to source and close successful leads
Learn about and connect with local communities
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple conversations and leads across various platforms
Clear and positive communicator, both verbally and in writing, with an authentic voice
Passionate about our mission to create belonging and economic opportunity for hosts
Familiarity with social platforms (Facebook Groups, Reddit, Nextdoor) for community engagement and lead generation
Based in Los Angeles and deep local knowledge of the market and its service offerings
Preferred
Experience with or understanding of small business owners, hosts, or side hustlers is a plus
