Responsibilities

Prospecting, securing and developing new customer accounts

Preparing and submitting accurate job quotations, and managing sales activities throughout the full project lifecycle. The Outside Sales Representative works closely with internal production, estimating, and management teams to ensure customer requirements, specifications, and timelines are clearly communicated and met

Required

Minimum two years selling experience in the machine shop/sheet metal market

Demonstrated ability to generate new customer accounts and close sales in a technical or production-driven setting

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, job quoting, and customer specifications

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

Preferred

Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, specifications, or production requirements preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
