Responsibilities
Conduct discovery through interviews, workshops, and document reviews to assess current-state service portfolios, tools, interfaces, and dependencies
Map service integration architecture, identifying gaps, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for standardization and improved interoperability
Define and document future-state service integration models, including service categories, boundaries, governance, and accountability structures
Develop architectural artifacts such as service interaction maps, system interface diagrams, value stream maps, and integration workflows
Recommend integration standards, technical governance practices, and service integration approaches (APIs, protocols, and integration patterns)
Create documentation supporting transition planning and procurement readiness, including service catalog content, interface definitions, and governance frameworks
Facilitate validation sessions with stakeholders and refine documentation based on feedback; deliver knowledge transfer to internal teams
Produce executive-ready deliverables such as briefing notes, decision logs, and architecture presentations to support leadership and governance forums
Provide ongoing reporting including weekly status updates summarizing progress, risks, mitigation plans, and key insights
Qualification
Required
7–10+ years of experience in IT service architecture, ITSM design, enterprise architecture, or service delivery integration roles
Strong expertise in end-to-end service model design, service domains, integrations, and dependency mapping in complex environments
Deep understanding of SIAM principles, multi-provider coordination, and retained organization operating models
Experience aligning service architecture with frameworks such as TOGAF (or equivalent)
Proficiency creating architecture diagrams and process models (e.g., UML, BPMN, service blueprints, swimlane diagrams)
Familiarity with ITSM/ITOM platforms such as ServiceNow and governance frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate technical insights into actionable recommendations and executive-level communications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Relevant certifications preferred (TOGAF, ITIL Expert, or comparable enterprise/service management credentials)
