The Program Assistant for Memory Care is responsible for designing and implementing engagement programs that enhance the lives of residents, focusing on wellness and community involvement.

Responsibilities

Designs daily programs aligned with the Five Guiding Principles to support meaningful resident experiences
Develops and executes personalized daily schedules based on residents' interests and abilities
Partners with the Zest Department to create monthly event calendars
Procures and maintains supplies, including Creative Connection Kits
Plans and facilitates Family Nights and other resident/family events
Maintains program documentation as requested by the Enliven Director
Coordinates with the kitchen on special food needs for events
Plans resident outings and arranges transportation as needed
Communicates resident changes and family concerns to the Enliven Director
Shares positive resident moments through a proactive communication plan
Other duties as assigned

Required

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Skilled in engaging groups and delivering effective presentations
Ability to interpret safety protocols, procedures, and technical documents
Exceptional organization, multitasking, and time management abilities
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making sound, independent decisions
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies
Reliable, with consistent attendance, professional appearance, and deadline adherence
Experience engaging individuals with dementia across various stages
Travel may include domestic travel to different communities for business need
Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new software systems
High School Diploma or GED
First Aid / CPR certification required
