Paralegal

MOHR Talent is a well-established financial institution seeking an experienced Paralegal to support its legal function. This role involves providing comprehensive legal and regulatory support, managing contracts, and interacting with executive leadership and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Support contract review, administration, execution, and maintenance, including vendor agreements, amendments, and nondisclosure agreements
Manage vendor documentation by tracking contracts, renewals, and compliance requirements
Process and oversee wage garnishments, levies, subpoenas, and other legal orders in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
Prepare, file, and maintain legal and regulatory documentation with accuracy and timeliness
Maintain organized legal files, records, and contract repositories
Coordinate document execution and notarization as required
Assist with regulatory exams, audits, and legal inquiries by gathering and organizing requested documentation
Interact professionally with executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and outside counsel
Support legal research, correspondence, and special projects as assigned

Required

Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program (required)
3+ years of paralegal experience within: A financial institution, community bank, or credit union OR A law firm supporting banking or financial services clients
Demonstrated experience with: Contract review and administration
Vendor management and documentation
Wage garnishments, levies, subpoenas, and legal filings
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment
Polished written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive interaction
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information

Preferred

Notary Public certification
Experience supporting regulatory exams or audits
Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance environments
