Human Resources Payroll Manager
Optimal Care Services is seeking a Human Resources Payroll Manager to support their HR department and manage payroll operations. This role ensures accurate employee compensation, compliance with labor laws, and smooth HR processes from onboarding to benefits administration.
Education Management
Responsibilities
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Maintain employee records and HRIS data
Coordinate benefits enrollment and changes
Support performance review cycles and training initiatives
Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
Maintain payroll records and ensure proper deductions (taxes, benefits, etc.)
Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee pay issues
Prepare payroll reports for finance and management
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Coordinate with accounting for journal entries and audits
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in HR and/or payroll administration
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Accounting, or related field
