Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services (Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, S3)
Implement data ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver high-quality datasets for analytics and reporting
Ensure data security, compliance, and governance across all AWS environments
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring high availability and reliability
Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and version control
Writing Terraform scripts but they need to be hands on
Qualification
Required
3–6 years of experience in Data Engineering with strong AWS expertise
Hands-on experience with AWS services: Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, S3, Athena
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PySpark/Spark
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for analytical workloads
Experience with ETL frameworks, data lake architecture, and big data processing
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Step Functions)
Knowledge of data security best practices and AWS IAM policies
