Business Development Manager - Fully Remote

Katapult is a leader in point-of-sale solutions for alternative consumer finance, and they are seeking a self-driven, results-oriented sales professional to achieve and surpass sales goals for their LTO production nationally. The role involves managing and growing an expanding pipeline of retail merchants and driving ecommerce and omnichannel sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

Develops and increases sales revenue to meet and exceed assigned targets
Leverages product enhancements and features to keeps retailers informed of the evolving value proposition
Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attracting retailers and assisting retailers in attaining new accounts
Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided
Target and develop ecommerce and omnichannel sales opportunities to present Katapult’s leasing platform and win new business
Drive a high level of targeted outbound prospecting to ecommerce and Omnichannel retailers while maintaining a strong sales pipeline
Maintain a current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels, products, and competitors to support the identification of business development opportunities
Represent Katapult at networking events, conferences and in-person meetings with prospects
Maintain relationships with strategic retail partners to drive existing and new business
Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

Qualification

Required

7+ years in sales, particularly selling to merchants/ecommerce retailers
Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Strong sense of urgency for goal and professional achievement
Ability to work without close supervision
Enjoys research and detail oriented
General administrative duties and responsibilities
Ability to document processes
Strong communication skills
Results oriented and great at multitasking
Desire and potential for career in Sales

Preferred

Fintech industry experience preferred with a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem
CRM experience (Hubspot is a plus)
