They are seeking a motivated individual to join their accounting operations team as an IT Developer/Automation Analyst, focusing on developing automation solutions and supporting data analytics across dealership locations.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining automation workflows using UiPath and other RPA tools

Support Excel-based solutions including VBA macros and data processing templates

Help build and troubleshoot integrations between business systems (APIs, webhooks, data connections)

Support existing Qlik applications for financial reporting, sales analytics, and operational metrics across dealership locations

Document processes, workflows, and technical procedures

Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for existing automation and reporting solutions

Participate in testing and quality assurance of new automation projects

Learn dealership management systems (CDK) and document management platforms (DocuWare)

Collaborate with accounting staff to identify automation and reporting opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications)

Basic understanding of programming concepts and logic

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Exposure to any programming or scripting language (VBA, Python, JavaScript, SQL)

Experience with Qlik Sense, Qlik View, PowerBI, or similar BI/analytics platforms

Understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL processes

Familiarity with SQL and relational database structures

Familiarity with RPA concepts or tools (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere)

Experience with APIs or data integrations

Accounting or finance coursework/experience

Experience in automotive, retail, or multi-location business environments
