Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a Design Technician II to support engineers and designers by preparing layouts, details, sketches, and diagrams using AutoCAD. The role involves conducting site visits, collaborating with team members, and utilizing engineering knowledge to complete drawings.

Responsibilities

Draw finished designs from initial sketches

Conduct site visits to collect the needed field data and to produce sketches of existing conditions

Provide collaborative support to work on production jobs by assisting with drawings, preparation, file maintenance, and organization

Meet and communicate with internal team members and external clients to review ongoing design work and provide project updates

Utilize knowledge of engineering practices, mathematics, and other physical sciences to complete drawings

Required

High school graduate

Associates degree in computer aided drafting and math, and or equivalent experience and training
