Responsibilities
Conduct process capability analyses and support PPAP/ISIR activities
Gather and analyze data to establish or update workmanship standards
Support employees and supervisors in completing quality documentation and determining the disposition of nonconforming products
Develop and maintain databases to support quality-related projects
Recommend long-term improvements to quality systems and manufacturing processes
Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections as required
Coordinate and maintain quality system documentation
Collect, organize, and analyze quality data and control charts; prepare summary reports for management
Identify and report nonconforming materials
Maintain quality records and customer documentation
Train and assist employees on proper measurement techniques
Perform in-house calibration of micrometers, calipers, and other inspection gauges
Coordinate external calibration services in accordance with established schedules
Participate in vendor qualification activities to reduce or eliminate incoming inspections when applicable
Serve as an internal auditor for quality system audits
Prepare and respond to customer correspondence as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
