The Facilities Operations Assistant will be responsible for carrying out routine and basic tasks related to the maintenance and operation of facilities, including relocating supplies, conducting maintenance, and managing the pickup and delivery program across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Relocating supplies and equipment within the facilities
Clearing materials from construction sites
Painting
Conducting maintenance on machinery
Loading and unloading trucks
Performing basic carpentry and masonry work
Managing the pickup and delivery program across the five locations of the Wadsworth Center

Qualification

Operating vehiclesBuilding maintenance toolsBasic carpentryBasic masonry

Required

Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position
Applicants must be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions
Incumbents must possess a valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated

Preferred

The preferred candidate should possess a solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency in operating vehicles, tools, and equipment commonly used in building and grounds maintenance
