Field Inspector

Responsibilities

Inspect stormwater systems
Identify components of systems and structures needing repairs
Communicate and conduct job walks with prospective customers
Assist sales team by providing clear inspections of the scope of work required
Support field and internal team members to achieve team goals
Follow all safety and operational standards and procedures
Communicate and work with the maintenance team to collect pertinent project information to be captured
Drive, navigate, and operate company vehicles
Load and unload equipment and material
Perform routine inspections and service procedures on company vehicle and equipment
Perform percolation test on drywells as requested
Present project-specific solutions to internal and external customers
Ensure safety first mentality with adherence to all company and OSHA policies
Completing assigned inspections
Customer Satisfaction while on site
Prospect potential customers before or after inspections. Identify leads
Consistent and accurate inspections for scope of work required
Paperwork submitted on time
Reduce rework by providing accurate detailed drawings
Manage and maintain the cartridge exchange program in the PNW
Inspect cartridges for damage or defects
Inventory incoming and outgoing cartridges
Load and unload cartridge pallets
Other duties include administrative paperwork, working with tablets, computers, and phones as necessary

Required

Confined space and forklift training and certification
Minimum 2 years of experience working in stormwater treatment and maintenance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills, detail-oriented
Enthusiasm and passion for the business and achieving organizational goals
Team player able to share thoughts openly, accept new ideas and get the job done
Ability to use small hand tools as well as larger equipment
Drivers license in good standing
Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching
Able to work in tight/confined spaces
Ascending or descending ladders up to 30 feet deep
Standing for extended period of time
Able to work under extreme conditions such as hot/cold temperatures, noise, dust, and dirt
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Ability to travel for approximately one week per month for 5-6 months out of the year (~June-October)

Forklift certified preferred
Existing certifications a plus
First aid and CPR training provided by company
