Assist in the preparation of annual operating, capital, grant, and trust budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance

Monitor departmental expenditures, revenues, and fund balances to maintain accountability and fiscal integrity

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including cost analysis and performance data, for management decision support

Review financial data for council agenda items and collaborate with staff to resolve discrepancies or budget issues

Oversee financial system transactions, including receivables, payables, and reconciliations, ensuring adherence to policy and accuracy
