Responsibilities

Guiding engineers on enterprise technologies and solutions

Facilitating and leading client project scope discussions with the ability to understand and articulate the business impact of proposed solutions

Leveraging new and emerging technologies to fulfill project requirements and business objectives

Mapping project requirements to technical tasks for the engineering team

Writing and reviewing software code

Writing client-readable technical architecture documentation

Enforcing development best practices with the engineering team – proper code branching, code reviews, unit tests, and environment setup

Leading all phases of software development including design, development, testing, and support

Required

Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on development experience in React/Next, Python and Node

Hands-on experience with REST & GraphQL API integration

Able to write clear, well structured and optimized Typescript code

Regularly writes and uses unit test frameworks such as Jest

Hands-on development experience in AWS and/or GCP Cloud Services; comfortable writing and setting up serverless functions and containerized services

Familiarity with microservices architectures

Familiarity with dev tools such as Github, Jira, CFT, Terraform

DB experience with relational or noSQL such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, MongoDB, Redis

Familiarity with cloud-based logging, monitoring, and security tools
