Responsibilities

Professionally handle high-volume phone calls, emails, and electronic inquiries from healthcare providers

Provide clear, accurate information related to benefits, claims, billing, and payment processes

Educate providers on policies, procedures, and available self-service tools when appropriate

Research issues, collaborate with internal teams, and follow up when first-call resolution isn’t possible

Accurately document all interactions, resolutions, and next steps using established templates

Stay up to date on internal resources, policies, and program updates

Use strong communication and soft skills to build positive, trusting relationships with providers

Required

At least 3 years of customer service experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent active listening

High attention to detail with consistent, accurate documentation

Ability to stay organized, work independently, and perform well under pressure

Solid computer and data entry skills

A positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism

High school diploma or equivalent

Maine (Required)

Preferred

Healthcare or medical billing experience is a plus, but not required
