Responsibilities
Develop packages for deployment of applications, patches, and updates to the Choctaw Nation desktop environment
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to supplement packaging and other support tools as required
Develop and maintain knowledge bases and FAQ resources on the file server to aid in problem resolution
Troubleshoot production support issues post deployment and recommend solutions as needed
Provide leadership and support to Technical Support Specialists to help them serve the End-User community more proficiently
Modify configurations, utilities, and software default settings for VDI
Modify configuration, utilities, and maintain Print roaming services and Single sign on software
Create, test, and deploy software packages through EPM and Group policy
Other duties as may be assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in computer science or equivalent education, relevant certifications
Intermediate experience supporting various operating systems
Intermediate experience supporting desktop and server environments
Intermediate experience creating automation for installations, configuration changes, and system management
Intermediate experience troubleshooting pre-deployment and post go-live issues
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Two years of related work experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science and six [6] years of directly related experience, OR ten [10] years of directly related experience in lieu of education
Experience in Windows, Linux, and virtualization environments such as VMWare
Experience in desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 7/10, Server 2008/2012
Experience with PowerShell, VBScript, and batch scripting languages
Experience creating custom scripts to drive installs, uninstalls, custom actions and system management
Ability to troubleshoot Packaging, Deployment, and System issues
