They are seeking a new graduate Civil Design Engineer (Transportation) to join their Civil Engineering team, responsible for designing innovative solutions in accordance with project requirements and application codes.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

0-3 years of successful design experience within a consulting engineering firm

Knowledge of Illinois Department of Transportation or Illinois Tollway design standards, procedures and specifications is a plus

Strong knowledge of Microstation, including CONNECT and Open Roads Design is a plus

Awareness of other disciplines and the interrelationship of the various elements of design

Strong analytical skills; knowledge of analysis methods

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred

Experience specific to transportation (IDOT, CDOT, Tollway, municipalities) and roadways

Experience with Microstation including CONNECT edition and Open Road Designer
