Inside Sales Associate

The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, providing product details, and maintaining strong customer relationships while supporting the sales cycle from lead to conversion.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries, provide product details, and assist with pricing and quote requests
Understand customer needs and recommend solutions that best fit their applications
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through consistent communication and timely follow-up
Support pricing discussions and work with costing to prepare accurate pricing for contract and high-volume customers
Partner with outside sales reps to support the full sales cycle; from lead to conversion
Maintain accurate customer information, forecasts, and documentation in the CRM/ERP system
Perform quarterly and annual account reviews to identify sales trends, usage shifts, growth opportunities, and areas of concern
Flag reduced usage or lost business and communicate findings with sales, customer service, production, and supply chain
Assist in developing action plans to recover lost business or address changes in demand
Use account data to identify cross-selling, upselling, and retention opportunities
Help resolve pricing discrepancies, delivery delays, quality concerns, and other customer issues by working with internal teams
Provide professional after-sales support to strengthen relationships and improve customer satisfaction
Stay current with product changes, competitive offerings, and market updates to better support customer needs

Qualification

Required

2+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service
Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills
Comfortable reviewing sales data and identifying trends or concerns
Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability
