Responsibilities

Develop applications for data reporting. Ensure the security, integrity, and accuracy of all data outputs
Design, develop, administer, and maintain databases, as well as web-based and computer-based information systems. Support research and project needs with accuracy, and efficiency
Document code and technical and business processes, and refine user documentation, technical specifications, and system standards. Develop and maintain process improvements and comprehensive documentation
Maintain a robust, reliable, and secure information system infrastructure in alignment with established standards and best practices
Provide technical support, guidance, and training to both internal and external users. Prepare and disseminate clear instructions for system users and operators, ensuring proper system use and data integrity

Required

At least 1 year of experience in systems analysis, design, and programming
Experience or working knowledge of PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) based applications
Experience with Unix Web hosting paradigms and Unix command lines
Experience with JavaScripts: AngularJS, jQuery, Node.J, Bootstrap, HTML and CodeIgniter
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Values the contributions of others in the work environment
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences or related field
Familiarity or experience with program platforms such as A11y, Dockers, RESTful APIs, SMTP, Object Oriented Programming, Tableau, and Python

Retirement Plan Eligibility: The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
