Vendor Management Analyst
Advocus National Title Insurance Company is a title insurance underwriter and provider of settlement services. They are seeking a Vendor Management and Reporting Analyst who will be responsible for onboarding, managing, and optimizing third-party vendors critical to title agency operations, ensuring compliance and delivering operational insights through Power BI reporting.

Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end onboarding of title vendors, including notaries, examiners, abstractors, recording vendors, and search providers
Collect, validate, and maintain vendor documentation (W-9s, E&O insurance, licensing, background screenings, underwriting requirements)
Ensure vendor compliance with state regulations, underwriter guidelines, ALTA Best Practices, and internal policies
Maintain vendor records within title production and vendor management systems
Coordinate with compliance and legal teams to address deficiencies and remediation plans
Establish vendor KPIs and SLAs tied to title operations, including:
Turnaround time (TAT)
Accuracy and defect rates
Recording and post-closing timeliness
Responsiveness and capacity
Build and maintain vendor scorecards and performance reviews
Monitor trends by state, county, and transaction type (refi vs. purchase)
Escalate underperformance and partner with vendors on corrective actions
Support vendor audits and underwriter reviews
Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards supporting title operations, including:
Vendor performance and scorecards
Refinance and purchase volume trends
Cycle time and bottleneck analysis
Post-closing and recording metrics
Capacity and workload forecasting
Integrate data from title production systems, vendor platforms, spreadsheets, and operational databases
Automate recurring operational and executive reporting
Ensure data accuracy, governance, and standardized KPI definitions
Translate operational data into insights for leadership and operations teams
Identify operational inefficiencies and vendor-related risks using data and reporting
Recommend vendor optimization, reallocation, or consolidation strategies
Support scaling efforts during volume surges or market shifts
Partner with operations, compliance, post-closing, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
3–6+ years of experience in title operations, vendor management, or settlement services
Demonstrated experience managing title-related vendors
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboard design, data modeling, DAX preferred)
Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL or data connectors a plus
Knowledge of ALTA Best Practices and title regulatory requirements
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Experience supporting refinance-heavy or multi-state title operations
Power BI certification
Experience with underwriter audits and vendor risk reviews
Familiarity with title production systems (SoftPro, ResWare, RamQuest, Qualia, etc.)
