Responsibilities
Oversee and report incidents to Corporate EHS, leadership, and regulatory agencies
Investigate spills, injuries, and property damage; facilitate root-cause analysis
Drive corrective actions and monitor closure of all incident-related action plans
Administer Worker’s Compensation claims
Develop and deliver EHS training programs in partnership with the Training Department
Ensure employees understand and follow required safety and environmental practices
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations
Implement site-specific programs that strengthen our safety culture
Track KPIs, manage EHS documentation, and report metrics to leadership
Ensure timely regulatory reporting to the appropriate agencies
Implement companywide EHS policies and procedures at the site level
Prepare for and support internal and external EHS audits
Drive immediate closure of audit findings with documented action plans
Maintain and continuously improve site-level EHS management systems
Remain informed on changing regulations and industry best practices
Collaborate with site leadership, operations, HR, quality, and engineering teams to integrate EHS into everyday operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of hands-on experience in EHS within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of environmental programs (air, water, waste, hazardous materials)
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS-related software/systems
