Responsibilities
Receive and process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Respond to customer inquiries professionally, directing them appropriately when needed
Manage incoming calls, communicate order confirmations, and update customers on order status
Enter customer and job data into JWS and coordinate deliveries with freight carriers for optimal efficiency
Collaborate with customers, drivers, Sales, and Plant personnel; provide after-hours support as needed, including during inclement weather
Qualification
Required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using business systems and tools to support customer service functions
Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
Commitment to teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Bilingual in Spanish; customer service and sales experience preferred
Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette
Proficiency in Windows-based programs, JWS, and SAP systems
Knowledge of aggregates or construction materials helpful
College degree or additional training preferred
