Project Engineer IV

Responsibilities

Provide advanced engineering judgment to complete complex designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for manufacturing and high ‑ tech facility projects
Develop process, mechanical, electrical, or utility system designs that support production efficiency, reliability, and environmental control within advanced manufacturing environments
Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed engineering phases with cross ‑ disciplinary teams—including mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, and process engineering
Support project execution by monitoring progress, identifying risks, and ensuring performance aligns with client expectations and production requirements
Deliver technically sound solutions within budget and schedule constraints, supporting optimized facility operations and long ‑ term system performance
Provide guidance, technical mentorship, and design review for junior engineering staff
Participate in feasibility studies, system evaluations, commissioning support, and operational assessments

Required

Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering required
Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, Aspen Capital Cost Estimator, Caesar pipe stress, Pipeflow hydraulic software, AutoCAD Plant 3D) as well as Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
Experience with engineered equipment and process solutions, practical in-plant/hands-on field engineering and management, and FEL project life cycle through construction for process piping projects are desired
Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
