Responsibilities
Own the end‑to‑end positioning for Thread’s platform and key products (e.g., AI Pro, Voice, Resolution, agents)
Develop clear value propositions and messaging frameworks:
By product and feature
By segment/firm size (Mini → XXL)
By persona (CEO, service desk manager, CS, etc.)
Create and maintain a unified brand and product hierarchy:
How each product/agent rolls up to the broader platform story
How we talk about “service intelligence” and Thread’s role in the AI stack
Lock down the “official” way we articulate value across teams and channels (Sales, CS, Product, Marketing, partners)
Be the marketing owner in recurring product meetings with Product/Eng (e.g., Mark’s team) from concept through launch:
Understand roadmap, deployment models (e.g., phone system variations), and implementation details
Drive early thinking on how value propositions change by configuration or environment
Lead cross‑functional working sessions with Sales, CS, Product, and Marketing to:
Align on readiness models (AI/Service Intelligence maturity, etc.)
Consolidate competing frameworks into a single, shared model
Resolve disjointed messaging (e.g., CS vs Sales vs Marketing vs Evolve content)
Establish a lightweight governance process:
Define who contributes what (e.g., CS as voice of customer, Product on capability, Marketing on story)
Keep messaging, decks, and frameworks current and version‑controlled
Own GTM plans for new product/feature launches and major releases:
Define goals, audiences, positioning, and key messages
Map channels and tactics (events, email, paid, web, PR, enablement, etc.)
Establish launch timelines and dependencies; drive them to completion
Ensure we are never “late to the game”:
Marketing is involved early enough that launch assets are ready before GA
No scrambling for demo decks, one‑pagers, onboarding videos, or sales tools after launch
Partner with Demand Gen to translate messaging into campaigns that generate pipeline:
Inputs for paid media, content, and lifecycle/email nurture
Clear CTAs by funnel stage and persona
Build and maintain core enablement assets:
Master pitch decks and product/solution decks
Battlecards, objection‑handling guides, competitive positioning
Onboarding and “how to sell” materials for new and existing reps
Partner with CS to:
Turn their on-the-ground insights into scalable collateral and playbooks
Standardize value prop language used in onboarding videos, customer calls, and partner training
Train Sales and CS on new messaging and launches:
Run enablement sessions, office hours, and refreshers
Ensure teams know not just “what it is” but “how to position it” and “why it’s different.”
Translate positioning into concrete content requirements:
Web pages, blog posts, ebooks, maturity models, webinars, and event talk tracks
Persona‑ and segment‑specific nurture streams (in partnership with lifecycle/email owners)
Support PR and analyst/media moments by:
Drafting/structuring messaging briefs and talking points for executives (e.g., investment announcements, interviews)
Ensuring external narratives reinforce our platform and “service intelligence” story
Define success metrics for launches and key programs (adoption, usage, pipeline, win rate, logo growth, ARR contribution)
Partner with RevOps and Sales to measure performance and feed learnings back into messaging and programs
Systematically capture competitive and customer insights and feed them back into positioning and product
Qualification

Demonstrated experience creating messaging frameworks and positioning statements
Demonstrated experience creating sales/CS enablement assets (decks, battlecards, one‑pagers)
Demonstrated experience creating launch plans and associated content requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to simplify technical concepts and keep nuance where it matters
Comfortable in fast‑moving, resource‑constrained environments (startup/scale‑up experience strongly preferred)
Preferred
Experience in MSP, IT services, or adjacent infrastructure/IT SaaS markets
Familiarity with AI/LLM products or automation‑heavy workflows
Background collaborating closely with demand gen, lifecycle marketing, and CS
