Delta Galil Industries is a global manufacturer and marketer of Private Label apparel products. They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support the month-end close process, maintain accurate financial records, prepare journal entries, and perform account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue, expenses, accruals, and general ledger activity

Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information

Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules

Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records and depreciation schedules

Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis

Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other transactional accounting activities as needed

Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy

Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as assigned by management

Required

Minimum 1 year of general accounting experience strong internship experience will be considered

Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP)

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Effective verbal and written communication abilities

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Strong desire to learn and take on increasing responsibilities

Preferred

Experience in a corporate accounting environment or public accounting firm preferred

Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)

Experience in a multi-entity or high-growth environment and exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis a plus
