Regional Director of Sales And Marketing
Responsibilities
Develop and implement commercial strategies that drive sales, market share, and profitability across all assigned hotels. Ensure alignment with brand, corporate, and ownership goals
Analyze market trends, comp set performance, and demand patterns to guide proactive revenue and marketing actions. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth
Coach, train, and motivate hotel sales leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance. Oversee action plans and development programs for underperforming properties
Review and provide feedback on budgets, forecasts, and sales plans. Lead monthly performance reviews and revenue calls to ensure consistent delivery of commercial KPIs
Oversee adoption of Valor sales tools, systems, and SOPs. Ensure brand and corporate programs are executed effectively at the property level
Partner with Corporate Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations to align commercial strategy and ensure cohesive execution
Visit hotels regularly (approximately 50%) to engage with teams, assess strategy execution, and support on-property initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum 4 years' experience in above property sales management preferred
Ability to perform critical analysis and manage wide range of information
Extensive knowledge and skills related to negotiating and sales procedures, in the hotel industry
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills sufficient to produce sales and marketing communication that properly reflects the Foundation Image. Listen effectively
Ability to delegate, manage manpower and organize complex projects and establishes priorities consistent with department/hotel objectives
