Responsibilities
Edit and produce short- and long-form video content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and digital learning resources
Edit webinar recordings and virtual events, ensuring fast turnaround and high production quality
Collaborate with content strategists, designers, and subject-matter experts to translate complex information into clear, engaging visual stories
Develop storyboards and scripts to guide the production process
Develop basic motion graphics, title cards, and visual treatments to support storytelling
Ensure all video content meets Section 508 accessibility standards, including captions, readable on-screen text, and audio clarity
Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and documentation in shared repositories
Manage work in a collaborative, Agile environment using tools like Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, and Box
Continuously improve workflows, templates, and production standards as part of a long-term team
Other relevant duties as assigned and qualified/trained to perform
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional experience in video editing or multimedia production
Portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in the responsibilities and requirements listed in this job description
Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects
Experience producing videos for web and social platforms
Experience with accessibility best practices for video (captions, contrast, readability)
Strong communication skills and comfort working on cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a structured environment
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in video production, multimedia, communications, or equivalent experience preferred
Experience working with content management systems (e.g., Drupal)
Prior work with or for government, non-profits, or underserved communities
