Return to Work Coordinator
The California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking a Return to Work Coordinator to assist employees in returning to work through various accommodations related to injuries or illnesses. The role involves collaborating with statewide stakeholders and requires strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to interpret laws and policies.

Responsibilities
Assist employees in returning to work by engaging in the interactive process via Reasonable Accommodations (RA), Limited Term Light Duty Assignments (LTLDA), Temporary Modified Work Assignments (TMWA), and Medical Personnel Actions (MPA) relating to industrial and non-industrial injuries or illnesses
Work collaboratively with statewide stakeholders to assist with non-industrial disability, Workers’ Compensation (WC), and the California Family Rights Act (CFRA)
Develop and maintain knowledge and skills related to specific tasks, methodologies, materials, tools, and equipment
Complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner, and adhere to all departmental policies and procedures unique to the correctional settings

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees and the public both verbally and in writing
Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and departmental policy
Develop and maintain knowledge and skills related to specific tasks, methodologies, materials, tools, and equipment
Complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner
Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures unique to the correctional settings
