Responsibilities

Oversees all client management and business development aspects of the Federal Program’s Emergency Management portfolio
Management oversight of client and industry engagement, business development planning and strategy, pipeline growth, and delivery of complex, publicly funded emergency management programs

Required

A bachelor's degree in business administration, emergency management, public administration, or equivalent. A Master's degree is highly preferred
15+ years of public and/or private management experience in emergency management, program management, and/or business administration
Proven ability in client relationship development, portfolio management, and capture management
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with federal, state, and local agencies, and other professional emergency management related organizations
A current International Association of Emergency Management's Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) certificate or state equivalent, and/or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate is highly preferred
Strong relationship management skills, emphasizing collaboration, active listening and communication
Customer focus, with the ability to decipher customer environment and interpret into specific needs
Agile decision-making, valuing diversity of thought, with the ability to apply sound judgement to make informed decisions
Ability to identify and facilitate the assignment and allocation of resources and prioritize effectively in limited timeframes to achieve desired objectives and established milestones
Demonstrated competence in leading and influencing high-performance teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
You are a leader with a clear vision and strong ethical compass

Preferred

A Master's degree is highly preferred
A current International Association of Emergency Management's Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) certificate or state equivalent, and/or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate is highly preferred
