Responsibilities

Facilitating project execution for the piping discipline, including
Helping develop and execute a schedule that the design team can meet
Reviewing resource allocation and coordinating to ensure our work meets our quality standards and fits within the project schedule
Reporting on progress and adjusting plans to ensure project success
Working with multi-disciplined team to plan and execute work in a cross-functional way
Facilitate and lead meetings with stakeholders to align deliverables with client expectations and ensure project documentation for key assumptions
Interfacing with key engineering disciplines, specifically process and mechanical engineering, pipe stress, and structural
Ensuring proper Quality Assurance (QA) for layout and design of process and mechanical piping

Qualification

Mechanical EngineeringPiping DesignProject ManagementEITPE CertificationAutoCAD SoftwareAnalytical SkillsCommunicationProblem-SolvingTeam Collaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
At least 5 years of experience working on manufacturing design projects as a discipline lead, project engineer, or project manager

Preferred

Electronics industry experience (semiconductor)
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
Working knowledge of AutoCAD based software
