This role involves developing solutions for engineering projects, analyzing and designing structures, and producing construction drawings using CAD/BIM technology.

Responsibilities

Develops solutions for small to mid-scale engineering projects of low to high complexity, from existing building retrofit to new construction

Develops innovative design solutions and engineering production methods to enhance efficiency, quality, and production of work product

Analyzes and designs structures and structural components using structural software, although conceptualizing design by hand prior to input in software is encouraged

Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of assigned projects

Maintains high standards of professional and ethical conduct

Develops professional skills through professional organization involvement, project assignments, reading, formal education and seminars

Production of structural construction drawings, specifications and reports using CAD/BIM technology

Construction administration support including project site visits and shop drawings reviews
