Client Service Associate / Relationship Manager
Laffer Tengler Investments is a growing asset management firm with over $1.5 billion in assets, seeking an experienced Client Service Associate/Relationship Manager. This role involves client on-boarding, documentation, and managing communications for clients while providing support to the Investment and Relationship Management teams.

Responsibilities
Develop a complete understanding of the firm’s investment philosophy and products to effectively communicate with clients
Research and respond to internal and external client inquiries with a sense of urgency
Engage in daily operations, monitoring and helping to facilitate client requests, distributions, and reporting
Perform duties and special projects independently or with a team as required by the Investment and Relationship Management teams
Train clients on the firm’s platforms (primarily Black Diamond and Pershing)
Deliver exceptional, proactive service, and become a trusted partner to internal teams in onboarding client accounts and managing relationships
Build strong relationships with internal colleagues, external custodians, and the firm’s various vendors
The individual in this role will be expected to seek and apply coaching and feedback
Qualification
Required
Completion of a four-year college degree in (but not limited to) the following areas: Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or Operations
At least 5 years' experience working in accounting, finance, operations, back office, or client service, preferably in asset or wealth management
A passion for investing and the ability to communicate intelligently with high-net-worth individuals about their investment portfolios
Initiative to create and implement efficient workflows and processes
Experience with investment management and reporting software (preferably APX, Black Diamond, and/or SQL), along with experience with custodian banks (Pershing and Schwab)
Strong working knowledge of the investment management business, and an understanding of equity and fixed income markets
Ability to grasp financial and investment concepts, along with the ability to create, navigate, and maintain complex spreadsheets (i.e., Excel skills)
This is an in-office position – the individual must be in or willing to relocate to Scottsdale, Arizona
FINRA Series 65 license (or ability to obtain within six weeks of hire)
