Patient Care and Customer Service Specialist
EPIC Behavioral Healthcare is dedicated to expanding substance use and mental health services to improve community access to behavioral health care. The Patient Care and Customer Service Specialist will provide excellent customer service in a behavioral health care environment, assisting adults and families in accessing services and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
Answering phones by the second ring-Heavy phone traffic, acting as an operator and directing calls
Performing professional, kind, and caring customer service
Consistently upbeat and helpful to clients and staff
Centralized Scheduling, backfill cancelled appointments
Billing and data entry work in an electronic health record database with accuracy
Collect co-pays, payments both credit card and cash
Working independently with minimum supervision. Able to follow established procedures
Required to work some early evening hours when needed
Be able to cover multiple locations when needed (Bunnell to Palencia)
Conduct drug screens at office when needed
Qualification
Required
Experienced as a customer service representative in a healthcare setting (2+ years)
Experience in a medical office (scheduling, billing, customer service and phones)
Motivated, organized, and compassionate
Able to multi-task
Computer experience and EMR experience required
Current valid driver's license in the State of Florida
Level 2 background screen and a negative drug screen [https://info.flclearinghouse.com]

Must have reliable transportation to our St. Augustine Campus and/or Bunnell Campuses
