Responsibilities
Investigate, triage, and reproduce field issues in lab environments
Collaborate with customers, operations, software, and hardware teams
Analyze logs and stack traces to support defect debugging
Identify defect patterns and root causes
Support software release testing and validation of new features
Assist with innovation projects and engineering prototypes
Develop subject-matter expertise in dispenser software and functionality
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience – Software Quality Assurance Field Technician
Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree with 3+ years of industry experience
Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA tools
Ability to triage issues, prioritize effectively, and propose resolutions
Ability to work independently and take corrective action
Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with strong quality mindset
Experience with QA metrics, operations, and statistics
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
Field experience troubleshooting issues and working directly with customers
Ability to design and execute issue reproduction scenarios
Strong Linux/UNIX and shell scripting experience
Strong Java knowledge plus at least one additional programming language
Experience with APIs, backend services, and communication protocols
Version control experience (Git or similar)
Experience in mixed software–hardware environments
