Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or small group instruction in [subject(s)] tailored to students’ individual learning needs
Explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles
Work with Summit teachers to gain direction and lesson plans to support individual students and small groups of students in Student Support Block and / or Office Hours
Assist students with homework, assignments, and test preparation
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
Provide timely, constructive feedback to students to encourage improvement
Track student progress and work with Summit teachers to maintain accurate records of sessions, grades, and improvements
Encourage positive study habits, time management, and organizational skills
Motivate and inspire students to achieve academic goals
Address individual learning challenges by collaborating with Summit teachers on how to serve diverse learners
Uphold academic integrity and maintain confidentiality of student information
Collaborate with teacher-of-record weekly
Participate in professional development and training opportunities as required
Qualification
Required
