Responsibilities

Apply practical supply chain knowledge to identify, analyze and solve problems within a single value stream
Implement and support continuous improvements and business process changes
Participate in supply chain projects within the value stream with consideration to the entire supply chain (plan, source, make, deliver)
Provide a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making
Optimize supply planning parameters that align with business requirements for service and inventory, including coordination of services and material to match production demands
Identify supply chain problem areas and drive improvement in service, reduce cost, and increase inventory turns, utilizing Supply Chain and lean tools such as Kanban, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check-Act, value stream mapping and A3 thinking
Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material
Facilitate functional teams and meetings
Provide daily work direction to others in value stream (planners and other project participants)
Work independently with general supervision

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher, equivalent experience
3-5 years Supply Chain experience
Working knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Executions Systems, Warehouse Management systems
Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, data mining and data reporting
Proficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem solving and continuous improvement, including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3 thinking, waste elimination
Engages with others in a way that can be developed into an ongoing working relationship
Seeks to understand customer needs in detail and how to satisfy them
Willingly accepts assignments that will expand his/her capabilities
Seeks opportunities to learn from others who have more experience and tenure in the organization

Preferred

Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems
